WELCOME
Hero's Mind Academy was created to help men who are no longer willing to go through the motions and are ready to build a life on purpose. Designed around the Hero's Journey fused with Stoic philosophy, we help you understand exactly where you stand and what it actually takes to move.
You find yourself in your Ordinary World. Life is stable, and things are fine on the surface. But you realize you've reached a Plateau, and "fine" has stopped feeling like enough.
Along comes the Call. An Itch to be doing something more with your life shows up with increasing frequency, and the right response isn't so obvious.
You let fear and doubt talk you out of any idea that springs to mind. That's the Refusal. You Stall Out, unwilling to risk what you have for what you want, because maintaining the status quo feels safer than stepping into the unknown.
Eventually, staying put costs more than moving forward. That's when you Cross the Threshold. You reach the Line, and you decide to act.
Then you face the Trials. This is the Forge, where your character is tested, fear becomes fuel, and every hard day shapes you into someone who has outgrown the life you almost settled for.
Most men move through these stages without ever recognizing this pattern. Hero's Mind Academy exists to help you see it. This isn't about fixing a single moment. It's about acknowledging where you are in your life right now, and confidently navigating every stage as it comes back around.

For nearly 20 years, it felt like life was happening to me instead of through me. I lived on that Plateau, battling stress and self-doubt without the tools to manage my own mind or the framework to understand who I was and what I stood for. I stagnated for a lot longer than I want to admit, telling myself this was just what I'd become.
It wasn't until I discovered the Hero's Journey, and the discipline of Stoic philosophy, that I understood why I felt stuck and what it would actually take to cross the Line and take back control of my life.
I founded Hero's Mind Academy because too many men are so focused on the problem in front of them that they lose sight of how they got there, what's keeping them there, and how to move forward. Through guided practices and action-oriented journals, we give you a proven approach to being honest about what's holding you back. This is not motivation to act, it’s a method you can actually follow. It means trading reactive patterns for responses rooted in integrity, building the kind of self-respect that comes from facing every challenge with courage and dignity, and becoming a man you're proud of, one the people in your life can rely on, before another year slips by.
Work With Me

Solid Ground is a 6-week practice built for men who are ready to stop waiting for change and start creating it.
Each week moves you through a new stage of the journey, from identifying what's really going on to actually living differently. Stoic practices, delivered through short daily videos, guided meditations, and journal prompts, help you question the story you've been telling yourself. Underneath it is who you actually are, what you really want, and what's been holding you back. And because insight alone doesn't change anything, each week provides specific actions to take.
The real transformation happens when you build a foundation that doesn't shift when life gets hard.

Your thoughts shape your life, and this journal helps you take control of both. Through focused reflection and small, consistent action, these short prompts will train you to ask yourself better questions, notice your patterns, and choose your responses on purpose. Uncover what’s driving your reactions, challenge self-doubt, and build habits that move you forward. Every page of Living With Intention trains your mind to shift from automatic to intentional so you can steadily replace reactive habits with deliberate choices and realize your capacity for growth has been there all along.

FAQS
How is this different from therapy or other self-help programs?
Solid Ground isn't therapy, and it's not another motivation course that leaves you fired up for a week and then forgotten. It's a structured, practice-based program rooted in one of the most battle-tested frameworks for navigating adversity ever developed. Rather than helping you process the past, it gives you a system for how you think, respond, and operate going forward. Every week builds on the last, so by the end you don't just have new ideas, you have new habits.
The duration of a coaching engagement can vary based on individual goals and needs. Some clients find value in a few sessions focused on specific issues or challenges, while others may engage in longer-term coaching to achieve more substantial personal or professional transformations. Typically, a coaching relationship may last anywhere from a few months to a year or longer. It's essential to discuss your objectives and expectations with your coach to determine the best timeline for your coaching journey.
